In front of the pension where we were staying, several blocks away from the museum, plaques commemorating the Jewish family that used to live in that building.
Hello, thank you for sharing your story of your visit to Trieste - I am aware of the town's sad history and involvement in the Shoah. I wasn't aware (sadly!) about the museum but as a Triestina raised abroad, including in the US, I'll definitely visit this summer when I'm back for a few weeks...
Thanks for reading! The museum is definitely worth seeing. There are also synagogue tours, but they are open very limited hours, so we didn't manage to do that.
